PCE-BCPC08 Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer for Precast Components

Brief Introduction

PCE-BCPC08 high-performance polycarboxylate superplasticizer specially designed for precast components is a new generation of superplasticizer developed with advanced molecular construction technology. Based on steric hindrance force and strong electrostatic repulsion, it effectively improves the adsorption and dispersion capacity of the superplasticizer and its adaptability to concrete raw materials, featuring high water reduction rate and high strength enhancement. It has strong adaptability to various cements, low dosage and convenient use. It can significantly improve the workability of precast component concrete, and is especially suitable for medium and low slump concrete for precast components.

Product Features

· High Water Reduction Rate: Tested in accordance with GB 8076 Concrete Admixtures, the water reduction rate of PCE-BCPC08 can reach 20%~30%, and can exceed 50% with increased dosage.

· Excellent Slump Retention Performance: The specific slump-retention components in PCE-BCPC08 can ensure that the slump of medium and low slump concrete remains basically unchanged during the construction period, guaranteeing the normal construction of precast component concrete.

· Superior Durability: PCE-BCPC08 contains no chloride ions, so there is no risk of steel bar corrosion; it has extremely low alkali content, which can effectively prevent alkali-aggregate reaction; it reduces concrete shrinkage and enhances the volume stability and durability of concrete.

· Strong Product Adaptability: Applicable to various specifications and types of cement, and has good compatibility with active admixtures such as slag and fly ash.

· Stable Performance: PCE-BCPC08 is a homogeneous liquid, with no delamination, no precipitation during long-term storage, and no crystallization in winter.

Usage Method and Precautions

· Recommended Dosage: The common dosage is 1.0%~2.0% of the total mass of cementitious materials. The optimal dosage shall be determined by on-site tests based on raw material conditions, ambient temperature and concrete performance requirements.

· Compatibility: PCE-BCPC08 shall not be mixed with naphthalene-based, aminosulfonate-based and other high-efficiency superplasticizers.

· Mixing Requirements: Concrete mixed with PCE-BCPC08 should be mixed with a forced mixer until uniform. For concrete with strength grade C60 and above, the mixing time shall be appropriately extended.

· Precautions: When on-site materials are changed, adaptability tests shall be conducted to obtain the best use effect. In addition, same as conventional concrete projects, precast component concrete mixed with PCE-BCPC08 must be properly cured.

Packaging and Storage

· Packaging: Available in drums, liquid bags or bulk tankers for convenient loading, unloading and transportation. The volume of packaging drums can be customized according to customer requirements.

· Storage: It shall be stored in containers made of plastic, fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) or stainless steel; iron containers are not recommended. Containers shall be kept clean, dry and cool. Avoid direct sunlight in high temperature seasons and take anti-freezing measures in cold seasons. The sealed shelf life is 1 year.

Safety Precautions

· PCE-BCPC08 is non-toxic, non-irritating, non-radioactive, non-flammable and non-explosive. It contains no formaldehyde and is environmentally friendly.

· PCE-BCPC08 is not edible. Avoid prolonged skin contact and prevent it from entering eyes or mouth. If it gets on the skin, wash it quickly with water and soap. If it accidentally enters eyes or mouth, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention promptly.
