BC-KJ(III) Concrete Impermeable Hydrophobic Densifier

Brief Introduction

BC-KJ(III) concrete impermeable hydrophobic densifier is a concrete admixture with hydrophobic and densification functions. On one hand, it increases the hydrophobicity of concrete by changing the surface tension of internal capillary pores, thereby significantly reducing the water absorption rate of concrete. On the other hand, it refines the capillary pore structure of concrete and improves its compactness, thus reducing the chloride ion transmission rate. This product can reduce the water absorption and permeability of concrete under both pressurized and non-pressurized conditions, delay the penetration of corrosive media such as chloride ions into concrete structures, and reduce the risk of steel bar corrosion. It is applicable to concrete engineering in marine, nuclear power, bridge, tunnel and railway projects under environments such as corrosion and salt crystallization erosion.

· No Adverse Effect on Concrete Workability: BC-KJ(III) has no negative impact on the workability of concrete and can improve its workability to a certain extent.

Usage Method and Precautions

· Recommended Dosage: The common dosage is 3%~7% of the mass of cementitious materials, with a recommended dosage of 5%, which equally replaces the unit water consumption.

· Concrete Mix Proportion: The strength of concrete mixed with BC-KJ(III) shall not be lower than C40, and the water-binder ratio shall not exceed 0.45. If other admixtures need to be added for special projects, they must be tested before use.

· Construction Method: Stir evenly before use. Appropriately extend the mixing time when mixing concrete to ensure uniform mixing of materials.

· Concrete Curing: After pouring is completed, carry out moist curing for a certain period according to site conditions to achieve the best use effect.

Packaging and Storage

· Packaging: BC-KJ(III) is available in 200kg or 1000kg plastic drums. Specifications can be adjusted according to customer requirements, ensuring convenient loading, unloading and transportation.

· Storage: BC-KJ(III) shall be stored in a sealed, dry and cool place, with a shelf life of 6 months under sealed conditions.

Safety Precautions

· BC-KJ(III) is non-toxic, non-irritating, non-radioactive, non-flammable and non-explosive. It contains no formaldehyde and is environmentally friendly.
